The thrill of the hunt
Friday I found myself craving a thrift shop experience. I picked up our daughter Jill and her friend, Charles, and together we perused aisles of glass kitchenware, knick knacks and books. We unrolled old posters and laughed at funky cast-offs. I didn’t even know what I was looking for when I spied this old copper pan behind the counter. Complete with a beautiful lid, it’s heavy and well-made and has seen lots of use. I was more than happy to spend $15 and bring it home with me.
